As a requirement of ELEM 5001 Field Placement 1 and Seminar, teacher candidates who DO NOT
hold a provisional certificate are NOT the teacher of record are expected to complete placement
requirements in 2 of the grade bands required by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission
(GaPSC). These grade bands are prekindergarten or kindergarten; first, second, or third grade; and
fourth or fifth grade. The teacher candidate will log at least 60 hours in each of the two grade bands
and will log at least 20 instructional hours in each grade band.
I am Nicolas Smith I was placed in 4th grade for the first half of the field placement and Kindergarten for the second half. I will attach the logs that need to be filled out don’t worry about the teachers signatures yet I did sit on one IEP meeting for the other form I really just need dates and times to add up to 60 hours and 20 Instructional Hours
I started September 8th I came in once a week every Tuesday will finish the week of Oct 22nd
