Review pages 126 to 130 in Ballenger’s Chapter 4. Using the techniques suggested there (e.g. anecdote, quotation, dialogue, etc.), please compose three possible “leads” (beginnings) for your paper. Each lead will likely be one to two paragraphs. Please LABEL the intros by strategy.
Evaluation:
The student tries his or her hand at three distinct types of leads.
Each lead is one to two full paragraphs in length.
The leads are free of errors in grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Each lead is labeled (e.g. quotation, profile)
