Use the following outline for your PowerPoint presentations (with voice):
Title page: Title of the article and journal including date published, name of author(s), student name, course, and date.
The main purpose of this article (background information).
The question(s) the author(s) is/are trying to answer.
Outline very briefly the author(s) argument, if any.
Outline any special or specific concept(s), therapy, or theories used by the author.
What is the assumption(s) underlying the author’s thinking?
What are the main points of view presented in the paper?
The main conclusions of the article and any helpful resources.
The number of slides will be limited to 8 – 12 (counting the title slide and references).
GRADING: This assignment is worth twenty-five points (25 pts) of your total grade.
– All assignments must be turned in on the date specified or before the due date using Canvas. It must be presented professionally (typed or word-processed, 12-font, double-spaced, grammar-and-spell-checked, and properly formatted for papers. All papers are required to use the American Psychological Association (APA) style.
– Please note that PowerPoint presentation fonts must be larger than 12. Your titles should be in the same font and citations should be used properly on your slides. You may use pictures and statistical graphs but do not overdo it with graphs or pictures.
