Students will outline the diagnostic process for this disorder, including the use of assessment instruments for diagnostic and intervention planning purposes. Differential diagnosis should be addressed.
Students will justify the choice of assessment strategy or instrument(s) used to diagnose the chosen disorder based on ethical standards and culturally relevant strategies. Students will identify evidence-based counseling strategies to treat this disorder and provide a sample developmentally relevant treatment plan with measurable outcomes addressed.
