The purpose of this project is to give students experience in collecting discrete and continuous data, making histograms, and
determining 2-sided confidence intervals. This Mini-Project will require that each student collect data and analyze it per skills
learned in Chapter 9 of the text.
Directions
You will:
• collect (through surveys or interviews) between 10 and 25 observations to be used in a confidence interval on
proportion. The data may not be video game related.
• determine an appropriate 1-sided upper or 1-sided lower hypothesis test and hypothesize a value for p0 BEFORE
doing any computations
• write up your findings using the template provided in the last pages of this document.
• upload your report as a Word doc or docx (no pdfs permitted) to the Mini-Project Upload in the Mini-Project module
