This is a reflective paper from a roleplay video assignment. Obviously you will not be able to watch the video, but I have included the assessment tool I used. Additional information that could be used is that I work at a substance use treatment facility, but do not usually do the initial suicide assessment when a patient is admitted. However, I do use the Stanley Brown assessment if a patient is showing symptoms of possible suicidal ideations. Below are the questions that need to be answered in the reflection.
